With the opportunity to be based in London, Bristol, Manchester or the Central Belt, this role would suit an experienced sustainability candidate, who would be interested in becoming the business lead for carbon management.
About the role:
The role will include integrating carbon management into spatial planning works, both strategically and at a project implementation level. It will also involve identifying carbon sequestration opportunities at planning and project level, providing policy guidance, and implement carbon reduction initiatives across all areas of the business’s existing consultancy services.
The role will also involve using carbon data to influence spatial planning options, carrying out renewable energy and low carbon studies for local authorities, and contributing to EIA climate change chapters.
You will have a breadth of knowledge across carbon management, most likely with experience preparing carbon management plans and net zero carbon strategies, and possess a comprehensive understanding of carbon accounting and management tools.
